Home Industry Workshop this weekend!

Our amazing friends over at home industry are running workshops so you can learn how to repair and cover a drop in style chair. Just the first of what I am sure will be many workshops to share their fantastic array of skills with everyone.

So start scouring the roadside for chairs in hard rubbish and get on over to home industry and book yourself in for a workshop.

D.I.Y Tuesday – MT tape bike!

This is so super super cute and I so wish I could actually read all the text that goes with it (but I can’t) but the photos from the Sodapop blog are just gorgeous enough on their own!

For those who can read German you can check it out here…so embarrassed only just remembered I could use google translate (facepalm). Apparently it is her bike and she was off for a ride on the first fine day.

D.I.Y Tuesday – attach a crate to your bike

Sometimes you need a quick way to haul some stuff by bike. This great D.I.Y by Riding Pretty is such a fun way to add a crate to your bike.

The Daily Tweed – Bike Mustache

I’ve written about these previously on the Rocket Fuel blog but they are so spectacularly Tweedy I couldn’t not mention them again.

The bike mustache

Both whimsical and beautiful it is a perfect addition for a tweed ride and if it was made in a workroom like this one

then all the more reason to support a fellow cyclist. Available here and all images sourced from their etsy page.

Designs for GEAR shop in Brisbane

Recently GEAR in Brisbane asked for people to submit designs for their new store kit. Design brief stated that it must be influenced by old school BMX. Here is what I designed for them

You can see some of the other designs submitted here. Thanks to Eric at GEAR for letting us submit some designs was really fun.

If anyone else wants some kits designed just get in touch.
