Rocket Fuel in training – not much progress

My training has been terrible lately.

I’m riding more which is great but it does make my wrist hurt and I’m just hoping that it’s going to be ok?

I’m not getting any faster at running and it seems to be getting harder to do distances/times that I’ve previously done with no issues? So much so that I’m not sure if I’ll be able to do the charity run I wanted to do that’s coming up soon.

And my weight hasn’t changed in weeks.

So rather than moan about how things just aren’t working at the moment am going to share 2 ladies who are keeping me inspired to keep going.

First up Naomi who is currently cycle touring Europe and making me equally jealous of climbing amazing mountain passes and photos of local produce.

and Liz from SheSpoke who is also travelling Europe though Liz’s travels seem to be a combination of bike, foot and Segway so far!


These ladies are inspiring because they lead fit active lives and then when they go travelling they are taking that same level of activity and it makes their travels more fun. It’s all about making it part of your lifestyle and by being fit and healthy your life gets better.

So thank you ladies for the inspiration.
